Destination Procrasatination and all things me

I'm thinking that maybe I should have called my blog Destination Procrastination as that seems to be all I've been doing for the last 24 hours while trying to come up with something to write about so I've decided to leave it up to you, I'm going to tell you a bit about my interests then I'd love ideas for my next blog.

I should probably let you all know that I'm a single woman in my mid-30s who lives alone and doesn't have kids which gives me time for plenty of interests. I live on the family farm so I'm surrounded by animals and I'm a bit of a country girl who grew up as a tomboy but has made up for it since.

Firstly, and probably most importantly when it comes to blogging, I am a beauty addict. I have more makeup than a dozen women could use in a lifetime and I still keep buying more, it's an addiction that many women suffer from and so far the only way I've found to combat it is with a 12-step program, I see something that I "must" have and I quickly take 12 steps in the opposite direction and try not to think about it =D

I'm planning on a lot of posts being beauty related, haul photos, reviews and maybe even some makeup looks that I'm wearing, although I hate taking photos of myself, but I don't want to restrict myself to just beauty so there'll be lots of other super, interesting things too. I love fashion and critiquing what the stars wear to events, it's always fun to check out the clothes I could never afford or carry off and decide what they could have done better, I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

I have a love of photography as well as nature and travel so I'll be throwing in some of my favourite photos that I've taken as well as anything I find floating around the net that I think deserves sharing. Another love of mine is interior design as well as architecture so there'll be posts and pics of rooms and buildings that I adore and want to share with people, it's always good to throw ideas and inspiration around for others to grab hold of.

If I can find any spare time, which is rare at the moment, I like to make beaded and wire jewellery and am in the process of setting up a website to try and sell some of my creations so there will definitely be posts about jewellery making and creating a website which is something I've never done before and am quite clueless about so I'll keep you updated as things happen, although I think they'll be happening pretty slowly. I'm thinking that I might throw in some simple, step-by-step tutorials if anyone is interested in making their own jewellery, it really is very easy if you keep it simple.

I also love music, movies, playing netball and tennis and reading so I'll probably have a few posts popping up about all of that, I have a huge collection of books which are mostly paranormal romance and fantasy so if anyone out there is interested in the genre let me know as I'm more than happy to do book reviews.

Well I think that's about it for my first ever blog post so feel free to give tips and advice as I'll be the first to admit that I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to blogging..... and quite possibly lots of other things too =D

I do know though that a good blog includes pictures and you can't underestimate the cute factor so here's a photo of my bubba kitties Max and Abby who are about 7 weeks old, everyone say awwwwwwww......

So that's over and out from me and please feel free to give feedback, good or bad, as I need all the help I can get.

Stacey.
